Established in 1886, the Church of God is the oldest Pentecostal denomination and remains one of the largest in the world, with 9.2 million members across 47,897 congregations, including more than 600 local congregations here in Florida. It is an evangelical protestant denomination holding a high view of Scripture and its role in the believer's life.
Stephen Pasquale began serving in the Church of God in 2010 as a ministry coordinator, assistant pastor, and later associate pastor at Praise Cathedral Church of God (now Lake View COG). He remained on staff for eleven years and completed Church of God School of Ministry's Ministerial Internship Program (MIP) during this time.
Alongside his pastoral role, the Pennsylvania COG State Executive Office appointed him to several additional roles including District Youth and Discipleship Director, District Facilitator for Pastoral Covenant Groups, Hospitality Director for statewide conferences, revitalization pastor, and trustee.
His credentials were earned in stages, beginning with Exhorter in 2011, followed by Ordained Minister in 2013, and Ordained Bishop in 2015, the Church of God's highest ministerial rank. As an Ordained Bishop, he sits on the General Council of the Church of God.
Since moving to Florida, he has received multiple endorsements from the Church of God Chaplains Commission, including as a Florida Pastoral Counselor Chaplain.
Pastor Stephen's ministry as a Church of God Vocational Chaplain now continues through Wayview Christian Counseling, providing pastoral care to individuals, couples, and families.
Rev. Stephen Pasquale remains accountable to his sponsoring denomination through dual monthly reporting to the COG State Executive Office and the COG Chaplains Commission.
